Pump Station Tendered

A significant milestone has been reached in our ongoing work to mitigate water seepage into basement foundations of homes near the creek in the Lisgar District. The tender has been posted for construction of the pump station that will automatically remove water from the sewer system when it reaches a certain threshold. Awarding of the tender is expected this month with construction to begin soon thereafter. The selected location for the infrastructure is the parkette along Black Walnut Trail at Cactus Gate and this intersection will be closed to traffic during construction. A notification letter will be sent out to all residents living in the area with specific details and impacts on the community.
