Community Centre Construction Resumes

I am pleased to share that, with the Provincial announcement that municipal construction projects can restart today, the City of Mississauga is working with its vendors to ensure the gradual and safe reopening of its work sites.  This includes Churchill Meadows Community Centre and Sports Park along with a host of other construction projects that were put on hold over the past 6 weeks. I will have another update with a better idea of the revised construction schedule specifically related our Community Centre when I have another meeting with the project team later this month. This is good news as we are in the middle of the best season to do construction and I am hopeful we can make up some of the lost time to minimize delays on opening.
