From park enhancements to traffic calming projects, there’s a lot of important building taking place in Ward 10 this year. Top of the list, of course, is the completion of the city’s newest – and most beautiful! – community centre and sports park. Churchill Meadows Community Centre and Sports Park is set to open later this summer with full programming already planned to start this fall (subject to provincial health measures due to COVID-19). The 65,000 square foot building and 55-acre sports park is stunning and will serve the needs of our community and city in terms of aquatics, indoor gymnasium capacity as well as sports tourism.
