I am absolutely thrilled to announce a significant investment in our community by a local builder. The Churchill Meadows Sports Park is getting a new name as part of a sponsorship agreement with Mattamy Homes. Mattamy is investing $5 million over a 25-year agreement to rename the City’s newest recreational facility Churchill Meadows Community Centre and Mattamy Sports Park. The funds associated with this opportunity will directly impact the earlier delivery of Phase 2 of our sports park on Ninth Line, including a much-needed full-sized lit cricket pitch, tennis courts and another multi-use sports field.
