After close to 15 years of working with the City and landowners, I am pleased to see the development plan move forward for the lands west of Ninth Line between Derry Road and Britannia Road in our Ward. Staff have prepared a recommendation report coming to Planning and Development Committee on December 11, 2023. This statutory public meeting takes place at City Hall (300 City Centre Dr.) beginning at 6 pm. When the report is available on the City’s website, it will be linked here. The plan brought forward by Mattamy Homes is similar to the one presented to the public at a community meeting I held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel CSS in June, 2023 with some small revisions taken into account from feedback at that meeting.
