Peel Regional Police hosted a citywide meeting for the public to speak to the trend of rising crime in our region and provide attendees with tips on what they can do to protect themselves. Just under 100 residents attended the session held at the Hazel McCallion Central Library in downtown Mississauga on Thursday, Feb. 22. A dozen police officers of varying ranks were part of the presentation panel, along with Gerald Adad who runs and presented on the Neighbourhood Watch program with Safe City Mississauga.

Following the meeting, attendees were provided with a series of resources which I am making available to all residents here:

  • Contact Information for 11 & 12 Division Community Liaison Officers
    • 11 Division (West of Mavis Rd. and the Credit River south of the QEW) including Ward 10
      • Constable Rowena Pryce – (905) 453-2121 ext. 1160
    • 12 Division (East of Mavis Rd. and the Credit River south of the QEW)
