An information report is coming to the City’s Planning and Development Committee on December 4 where Councillors will hear from staff about the planning work being done for the Ninth Line lands and be asked to approve a recommendation to have a statutory public meeting on the matter. The date for that meeting would be in the first quarter of 2018.  The 100-page report outlines the studies that have been completed to date, the latest land use proposals to guide future development within the Ninth Line Character Area and sub-divides the 865-acre strip of land into six precincts.  You can view the entire meeting agenda here. Ninth Line is the second item to be considered at the Dec. 4 meeting, taking place at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 300 City Centre Drive.
